MVJH RODEO

Mountain View Junior High students recently competed in the Intermountain Icebreaker Rodeo, and our Mavericks had an impressive showing across several events. These students demonstrated hard work, skill, and determination while representing MVJH in the arena.

First Go-Round Top 3

  • Hayes Gammon – 3rd Place, Boys Goat Tying; 3rd Place, Tie Down Roping

  • Baylor Hansen – 3rd Place, Chute Dogging

Second Go-Round Top 3

  • Kolbee Kellett – 2nd Place, Barrels

  • Hayes Gammon – 2nd Place, Boys Goat Tying

  • Averie Hansen – 3rd Place, Team Roping

  • Eastin Sumner – 2nd Place, Tie Down Roping

A special congratulations goes to Laynee Dahl, who earned Champion Girls Jr. High Breakaway Roper, an outstanding accomplishment in a very competitive event.

Top 15 Short Go Qualifiers

Several Mavericks also qualified for the Top 15 Short Go, a great achievement at the rodeo:
